    For the first time today I used BBM voice. Even half way around the world (both of WiFi) it sounded like I was right there with them. Makes landlines and carrier calls fell like 2 cans and a string.

    Your other friend would have to have BBM installed on a BlackBerry device (at this point of time)

    In the future, I'm sure they will implement it for ios and android.

    BBM Voice is only on BlackBerry phones for now. Legacy device running BBOS 6 and 7.1 and any BlackBerry 10 phone. It works over carrier data 3G/4G/LTE and wifi

    Yes bbm voice is solid, use it all the time with my Z30 and PlayBook

    Okay so to use BBM voice or video you need to be on 3G, 4G, LTE, or WiFi. Also the other BlackBerry must also have one of these connections. You must also turn on BBM calls on mobile network in the BBM settings. When both Blackberrys are good you will see the icon turn green.

    Also only Blackberrys can do this as of now. Not android or iOS.

    I thought it was only by wi-fi. How do you enable it to work on mobile network?
