Do you have BBM groups? How many contacts? Do you send and receive files?

My Wife's Z10 had exactly the same issue. I disabled BlackBerry Protect and the issue was resolved.

As I already mentioned, disabling BlackBerry Protect has stopped the excessive data usage on my Wife's Z10. Before that she saw exactly the same issue as you (500 MB).
Now it's back to "normal " levels. I can see this in Device Monitor. I don't know the reason for this but it only happened since the last OS update when I believe BlackBerry Protect is enabled by default although someone with a deeper understanding of the OS might confirm. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure in this case, but usually system data monitoring is not billed to you. Your phone counts it as data used, but it not included on your bill. I have BBM and protect on all the time and it's never been on my bill. I'm on Telus.

I find sometimes that running certain Android applications, even force-closing them, still results in peculiar battery drain. Usually a restart after closing them, if the power level is decreasing more rapidly than normal, results in the restoration of some of the charge (perhaps lower before restart due to prediction based on current drain). This also seems to stop the drain. eBay and Cardboard tend to be the only two I use with any regularity.
