    When i go into My World in BB World and choose BBM it always shows "Unavailable for this device " even though i have it installed and working. I am worried though that because of this i won't be able to update or even know of any updates for the app.

    Anyone else with the same problem has anyone figured out how to fix it?

    Some of the newer features may require newer versions of the Z10 firmware.

    If you go to Settings/about/OS, what are the Software release and OS version numbers?

    My software version is 10.0.10.88 while my OS is 10.0.10.684. I have a Stl 100-3 model.

    BBM is no longer in Blackberry World for OS 10. You probably found the OS 7 Version, that's why it says unavailable.

    It's the one that came preinstalled when i first got the phone. It also won't uninstall. I want to try to delete it completely but i can't find in blackberry world so I'm afraid i won't be able to reinstall it.

    You're wasting your time.

    Even if you were able to temporarily remove it, it would get reinstalled at the next software update.

    On my Verizon Z10, BBM shows up in Blackberry World as BBM (NOT as Blackberry Messenger, can't even find the app if you search for that name), and shows as "installed". It's not in my list of installed apps though, ergo it's basically part of the OS.

    Probably that idiosyncracy about displaying 'not available for your device' is some sort of deal specific to the AT&T or T-Mobile (or whoever your carrier is) firmware release.

    I guess all i can do is wait for a software or OS update that would fix this issue. It's just unnerving that i can't even see what version the app is to know if it's currently updated or not.

    I agree with you on that thing, shouldn't have to depend on BBworld to check installed app versions, especially if BBworld is glitchy. Ran into that annoyance myself before.

    Hopefully they'll fix it with upcoming updates. They're minor annoyances but annoyances nonetheless.
