BBM Question
I got my Z10 about 2 weeks ago, before I got my Z10 I had a Blackberry Curve and part of my contract was unlimited BBM. I put my contract sim into my Z10 and im just wondering will it be Unlimited BBM on my Z10 or will BBM come off my Monthly Megabytes?
Thanks

Never heard of unlimited BBM, but my guess is that's changed and will now come out of your data.

You would have to ask your carrier, never heard of that on a us carrier.
? AT&T Z10 STL100-3/10.2.0.1791 ?

Bbm used data like browsing Web. So no free bbm. Unless wifi of course

In Canada the old blackberry plans had unlimited browsing and social networking which means data transmitted via the browser, BBM, twitter and Facebook were counted towards that plan and everything was charged on a pay per use. They used to be cheaper alternative than getting real data plans. They removed those plans for a year now I think. But the or I call it should count towards that plan if you're still on that plan. If you got the phone through your carrier via upgrade and they didn't hassle you about your plan then you should be good to go. they wouldn't be able to activate the phone on an incompatible phone plan.

BBM should still be unlimited on the Z10 if it was unlimited on the Curve. Your plan will stay the same. However, some things will change between your Curve and the Z10, such as data no longer being compressed so you will use more data than before. I had a 9900 before switching to the Z10 and I only had 250MB of data. However, when I switched to the Z10 I had to go up to 1GB of data because the Z10 uses data much faster (about 3 times as much). You may want to check with your carrier to see if your data plan will cover the new phone's usage. You may have to increase your data plan. That is what I had to do ( I'm with Rogers in Canada).
Hope that helps.
