Just contacted RIM. Rep said they are working on it. Couldn't say when it would be fixed. I've been down since Saturday.

I got the same. i caved yesterday and went with Option 3. Which leaves you with no contacts and no groups, but gets it working again.

Some of my contacts that I have are all over Canada and the only reference to contact them is the BBM pin if I do wipe. Them or i ** with the third option they will be erased for ever
This is killing me more than anything else

something strange happened to me earlier,
all of sudden I got 2 messages from friends they are displaying in the Hub but when I click on them the BBM set up starts and of course
email not valid and temporary server error

Did you guys used your old phone or logged into blackberry id from old phone?
To overcome this problem I swiped clean my Z10, switched sim back on my old BB. Opened BBM, it says your contacts were transfered and therz a setup window. Luckily I had backup of BBM contacts on SD card. I restored my contacts on old BB and then did a switch all over again. And voila BBM started working normally on Z10.

everything was fine till then
and I did use the desktop software link
all went smooth till this happened

I have had no interruption in BBM service since I got my Z 10 3 weeks ago. I just got a return BBM from my daughter.
I'm located outside of Ottawa.

After two days of frustration. I re-loaded the BBM channels which for some reason in upgrading to one of the OS leaks had not loaded/restored properly. Once I did that. I re-booted by Z10 and my BBM worked fine.

Same happened to me the other day. Everything on the phone worked after a wipe and restore except for BBM. I then realized that I had Channels installed when I made the backup. After reinstalling it BBM worked without a hitch.

9700 > 9900 > Z10
