    Does it only apply BB to BB? I tried doing it with my sister' iOS since it is available now to iPhone.

    Swipe down on your BBM homepage, click settings and check if you have the option "allow BBM calls over mobile network".
    If you do, then you have. If not, upgrade your BBM via blackberry world.
    Also, if your contacts don't have it, you cannot use it.

    Yes. But the audio call is now cross platform.

    Got it. I have that setting and is activated. I wonder if it only applies for BB to BB.

    Like others have said...the iOS version with BBM Voice is being released today.

    Give it time to appear in the App Store, and then your sister can download the update.

    IOS-BB Video chat is being left out again however, so dont hold your breath for that one

    Most of my ios and android friends won't embrace bbm until it has good quality video chat. We all have unlimited talk and text plans which are becoming the norm. The only use able cross platform video is Skype and the quality is poor. Video with "facetime" quality that works cross platform will propel bbm to new heights quickly. But they've got to get it there before Whatsapp does.

    I'm just hoping this fixes some of the lag/bugs on iOS. My wife is increasingly frustrated with BBM on her iPhone and it's getting harder and harder to keep her using it. . .
