    Don't know my password. Old email account that I can't access. Need to update the email account. Close to wiping the phone. Any ideas?

    Go to the website and change the email to the one you want to use.
    You will need to know every of your account info like security question and password. Once done, you will need to confirm the email address. Just check your mail and confirm. That's all.

    No need wiping your phone.

    After its all done. On your device, go to setting, blackberry id and it should be showing your new email.

    The poster mentioned that the password is forgotten and also can't access the old email used as bbid so there is nothing will work.

    I read it differently. He said he doesn't know his password and/of an email account he doesn't have access to.
    But what he is asking for is how to update the email account.

    Maybe he lost both or just the email. We both offered the solutions.
    If it was just the email, my solution suffice.
    If not, your solution wins. Lol
