Hi, I'm having a weird issue.
I downloaded two apps from BlackBerry World and I can't use them because the throw an error that says, app will shut down and Google play services error. Do you know why is that since I didn't use snap for those apps?? One of them is Texas hold'em Poker and the other y called Apalabrados, similar to scrabble.

Since you are posting using CB10, type

myver (spacebar)

to show your model and OS version.

You are right - they should not have errors if available in BBworld. Did you tweak your Android setup (some folks load the bar files to change the runtime)?

Hi Cami, a few of us have had similar problems so you're not alone on this. I never had the problem until I installed Lucky Patcher and the patched Google Play Services apk v5.0.84. So it's been hard to tell which one may be to blame. I have since downgraded back to a patched GPlay apk v4.4.52 as I'm thinking v5 may be incompatible with BB OS 10.2.1. It's too soon to tell if this has had any effect yet because I'm afraid that if I say anything, it might come back. Prior to downgrading, a couple of hard resets seemed to fix it for sometime before the messages came back. I agree, GPlay services shouldn't have anything to do with apps from BB World.

That OS is an older version. I don't know what "fixes" in the Android player might have been introduced in the newer/newest OS versions. Any reason you have not upgraded?

F2, maybe the newer version is not available in my provider because I don't have the option to upgrade it. My phone says I have the latest version.

I updated Google play services just two days before downloading these apps from BBWORLD, but I never patched anything because I did not get the threads.

How did you update the Play Services?

You can use Sachesi to load a newer OS or one of the Autoloaders. These methods are discussed in threads in the OS Leak subforum.

I updated Google play services from snap. The app said that recent changes solved Google play errors in the screen. But It didn't only ruined BBApps but also the message keeps showing an error.

Cami, I agree with everything F2 has suggested above. Update your OS either through Sachesi or by using an autoloader. Then if you want to try installing GPlay Services again, I recommend you install a patched version from the post I linked to earlier. And disregard any future GPlay updates you see in Snap, they'll only cause problems.

Optional for you to load 1 mobile com. Mine Z10 working on1 mobile com. Hitting setting "On app manager "install others app. Good luck.
