I'm not sure what model they will be offering.
For the time being, all BlackBerry Z10 devices sold by carriers and retailers in Thailand will be the 3G-only STL100-1 model.

FYI I was at Siam Discovery last night where they have a BB Experience booth set-up.

I spoke to the salespeople and they told me that both the STL100-1 and STL100-2 will be available in Thailand.

I don't know which carriers will carry which model; however, AIS will start selling them next month.

I found it by chance too as I am in Bangkok soon and worry my AIS sim is not compatible with the Z10 because current plans are all BIS based
I am using the STL100-2 with AIS and have been for more than 1 month now.

There are no issues whatsoever. Everything works fine.

Wow, you're right, MBK does have them and they are only 21,500thb.............

    ราคามื*ถื* BlackBerry Z10

The problem is they list it as a GSM Quad Band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), and in the next few months all of the carriers in Thailand will be moving to 2100MHz for true 3G. Need to confirm whether or not the phone will support it or not, otherwise we need to wait for the Thailand versions to come available. Still no official release date yet, but they are now officially available in Singapore, India and Malaysia will get theirs next week.
I bought Z10 last month at MBK with 18600THB
The model is STL100-1, exactly yes real 3G and LTE doesn't available in Thailand yet.
And the official carrier will release on 22 April at BlackBerry shop and the price is 20900THB.

    Hi Marcati,

    thanks for your reply.

I have this prepaid sim card that I have used for over 5 years as I travel to BKK often. Previously am using this package One-2-Call : Prepaid Mobile Phone Operator ??????????????????????????????????????????

but that was when legacy devices were using BIS/BES data plans. Not sure which data plan i should use now on the Z10....i presume we can't use the BIS package anymore. Are you using a normal data plan or BIS data plan?

Believe it or not I'm still on my unlimited BlackBerry plan. The price between that and unlimited data is the same. Too lazy to change. LOL

    Hello Marcati,
As previously stated, for the time being, all BlackBerry Z10 devices sold by AIS, dtac, True Move H and at the BlackBerry Experience Center will be the STL100-1 model. There will be no STL100-2 devices sold until later, possibly after the BlackBerry Q10's launch in Thailand.

Got some clarification here. Was probably confused because the telcos in Singapore, totally did away with BIS plans for BB 10 devices

Clearing up the BlackBerry 10 data plan confusion: No, you don't need a special BlackBerry plan if you're a regular customer | CrackBerry.com

Yes you can use any smartphone data plan for the Z10 and Q10
Yes, a dedicated BlackBerry plan will still work
No, you can't use a feature plan like email only or BBM only
Yes, you need a micro SIM card to use in the Z10 or Q10 (or a iPhone 5 nano card in a micro SiM adapter will work too)
Yes, BES users still need a BES plan
