A friend of mine used Facebook on my Z10 and he told me it was exactly like the version on his iPhone.
Personally I don't do Facebook.

Yes. I know. I like my z10 aswell, but something as simple as Facebook to be so bad? I don't get it. Believe it or not it's probably the most used app on the planet. And for it not being able to tell time or recognize the date is pretty pathetic. Again, I like the phone, long time berry user but it's not ok to downgrade apps and functionality from the 0s7 devices

The app isn't downgraded...you're not getting something here...this is a brand new OS. It's nowhere near the same as OS7. Did you even hear of an OS8/9? Getting the bugs out will be soon coming. You've got an untried phone. Give it some time and revel in all the other cool **** it does!

I like it a lot better than my old Curve 9300 with a few exceptions......You can't save pictures or see tagged pictures, only albums.

Same on Android and I've gone to the full fb site on my laptop to change to 'most recent' several times.
Personally, I'd leave fb but I've family on there.

You should probably take some time to learn how Facebook's streams work I you are so dependent on it. It is not simply sorted by date. ****, your friends can now pay to promote posts to the top of your feed - its sorted in whatever makes Facebook's unhappy investors the most money.

Another idea that works great with the hub, use the close friends option, set all or at least everyone you pay attention to. Turn on notifications for close friends and every post will be available in your hub.

I don't recommend having sound or vibrations on for Facebook though.

The iOS facebook and twitter apps are much much much better than the z10 apps.

Lets hope BB will get it together and offer updates soon before the US launch because they will crash and burn with the youth market if they can't get these essential apps right. Don't even start on the fact that instagram and whatsapp aren't available.

I'm enjoying my z10 so far but I would never recommend to a younger person to get this phone if these apps are important to them.

As far as I know, BlackBerry did not write the Facebook and Twitter apps. So people need to direct blame at the correct developers. Also, in my opinion Facebook apps suck pretty hard overall on all platforms. Twitter on the other hand has great app functionality (though I hope they get the BB10 version ironed out) and I never have to go on the browser for Twitter, that says a lot.

I have to say that I am not impressed with the FB app as well....I don't blame BB10 or the Dev, but my
experience on my OS7 device seems better than this one.

Hopefully, the bugs are worked out soon....
