I know right. I find it cumbersome trying to type on other devices now since it takes awhile to delete.

It really does. I never thought I'd get attached to that feature in particular. Even when I'm on my Q10 I long for it.

I don't use the flicking in a manner of finding the next word. I use it in a way that only corrects the word I'm currently typing, or to add apostrophes to words such as turning "im" and "youre" into "I'm" and "You're".

I find myself typing slightly slower if I try to swipe up the next word immediately, unless the word is fairly long.

I flick rarely also, I find the space prediction works most of the time for me. I mostly tend to flick on the space to stop it changing words it doesn't know/like.

The swipe back to delete a word has ruined most other keyboards for me (Fleksy on Android is the only other keyboard I know with it). I don't want to have to repeatedly tap or hold a button down to delete. I have no patience for that now!

SwiftKey on Android also has this feature.

    Ditto.

I always find myself swiping left to delete a word when I'm using my iPhone or other people's Samsungs.
If they knew my motives, it would be a little less awkward for me when I'm repeatedly trying, not noticing I'm not on my phone.

This goes the same for swiping up to unlock.

This is how it goes for me, I type, type, type, type, type then begin to flick, flick, flick, flick, flick, flick.

I found that I could type gibberish from day one. The whole concept of detecting the improperly placed c v b N is brilliant. If I use my wife's Lumia, I inevitably end up with strings of words connected by the letters b and n.

Me too & I'm losing my ability to spell! It always corrects my words for me.

Something has to be about how awesome this keyboard is? It should be far more mediocre to keep our skills sharp!

    Completely agree with you.

The z10 typing experience is the bomb.

I showed it to a lady with a Samsung phone and at first she said oh my Samsung has that and then when she saw the flick typing on action, she was impressed.

BlackBerry somehow needs to get the word out about this sweet, sweet typing experience.

I can get nearly very letter wrong & BlackBerry still suggests the correct word. How is that even possible???

So it does! Thanks for pointing that out.

Although I kind of like using Flow with SwiftKey, it obviously can't have both of those options together.

Remember that the BlackBerry 10 keyboard is a modified version of SwiftKey, at least that's the foundation of it.

I try to have those contests with my friends, but since I'm on a Q10 I'm sometimes slower. But when I make them type as fast as they can without errors while not looking at the phone (something I do all the time), I always win
