Tons of official updates for all BB10 devices, it just depends on when your carrier decides to push it. Why not check through BBLink or even better yet go to Settings - Software Update on your device

Mine is not tied to a carrier...got it sim free...ve. checked via settings, bb link n the bb update website am still stuck wit version 10.0.10.99 and it keeps saying i ve the latest update...

I opened a thread too because I don't know what to do to have the update...

I'm on 10.0.10.99 with an unlocked STL100-02.

Guys I am in the same situation like u and have an unlocked stl100-2 in india and in india updates for stl100-2 will never be pushed cos the phone officially launched in india is stl100-1. So I ordered a UK vodafone sim card and using that I am able to update ota the phone every time an update is pushed by vodafone UK as they have officially launched the model stl100-2. So u need to have the sim card of any carrier who has launched stl100-2 any where in the world. The sim card need not be activated.

This is not the solution.

As I said my device is unlocked from a UK Carrier and I received an update for the 10.0.10.99 having my Spanish sym inserted.

So I do not think is a matter of carrer's sym. If not, why I receive one update and not now???

For me it doesn't make sense.

I got my device from Vodafone Spain, and out of the box had the 4G selectable - with the lates software update, 10.1.0.273, the 4G option has dissapeared. Does any one has a link where I can download the correct firmware? My device says I have the lates version.

My model is stl 100 -2

I'm on O2 in the UK and i put a Vodafone sim in my Z10 every now and then because they get updates first. Today i got Z10STL100-2/10.1.0.2354. Buy a uk Vodafone sim for 1 and you'll be ok.

Or yet, buy some and sell it to others who in dire need just like you

Hi koncoberry, i am using the same model of z10 and to update i am using abroad sim card. My os version is 1.2312.
My problem is after upgrade i can not send and receive MMS. So do you have the same problem ? Before update no this problem. My provider is indosat. Thanks

I just received 10.1.0.2014 update a few mins ago.... previously was using 10.1.0.273.
Official OTA update pushed by carrier.

Hi all - I will be visiting the UK next week so I will buy a card. The strange thing is that Vodafone Spain gave me this terminal and apparently it comes from the UK, so, this is why initially it had 4G and with the 273 update, it just dissapeared! I called customer service and they told me that LTE band in the UK is different from Spain and this is why it wont work here .. They offer me to swap it for another one, but I am afraid if I do, they will give me a stl 100-1 -- The think we are all stupid!!

It depends on carrier.
I'm on 10.1.0.273. It works well.
I live in Vietnam now.

I think once u update using the vodafone UK sim u should get all the options back. Lte hspa etc.
