    Hi everybody!
Pls find attached mail received from my carrier in Mexico (Movistar).

    Hola buen dia lic. Lozano
Esta es la informacin que le comentaba via telefnica que la BB Z10 el equipo no es compatible con el roaming internacional blackberry adems el equipo no comprime datos.
    Saludos cordiales

For those who cant understand spanish, heres the translation:

This is the information we talked over the phone, the BB Z10 is not compatible with BB interntanional roaming service besides the Z10 does not operate compressing data!

I cannot believe this is true.....for sure the problem is the carrier's network, anyway if somebody can comment something about it will be appreciated.

Of course it is compatible with international roaming. Sheesh. The disinformation that is out there is incredibly unbelievable.

I've used my Z10 in both Turkey and the Netherlands. It worked perfectly.

The tech support probably meant that bb10 is not using bis for most private customer plans.

Hence, their usual private customer plans die legacy bbos + BIS private users is now no longer available for bb10 private uaers.

    Which means no data compression.

Or more Wifi when I travel. To save data roaming costs.

And no bis security .just usual same as all security.

    Roaming
In most cases your BlackBerry device automatically connects to the appropriate wireless network when you travel outside of your wireless service provider's coverage area. In some cases you must contact your provider to have your SIM card or device properly provisioned. If you're not sure if your device is set up for roaming, or what roaming fees will apply, it's a good idea to check with your wireless service provider before you travel.
