Well I have the house to myself and I want to relax so I take a bath. My bathroom got really foggy and I was feeling pretty good. Need less to say my z10 fell in the tub, still working and on. I was playing my music still and my phone vibrated as I got a text. I of course shut it off and dried it and see the 2 pink marks on the device snd and battery. But happy it works, dropped my iPhone 4 in for like a second and had to leave it in rice for 3 days.
Its just another good reason to love blackberry

You dropped it in the tub and while under water it was still playing music and it vibrated? Glad it worked out for you..... plenty of example here where others where not so fortunate with their Z10's.

Same thing happened to me, I was walking near a small river, I fell down and after I went up I checked my z10 and it's still working. Love my Z10 so much!

And mine is working fine as well! Apparently my broken sim card reader is due to using a nano sim and removing it.

I can totally voucher for the waterproofing of the z10! I jumped waist deep along the shore of a lake by accident this summer without noticing my phone was in my swim trunks pockets. After drying it under the sun this baby just kept working like a charm! Very impressed!!

Guessing it's not the fault of the SIM but of the SIM adapter, have seen many a SIM card slot go this way. Adapter bends/breaks the pins.

Wow first time I have heard of someone killing a sim slot with just the sim, everyone I know has caught a pin on the adapter. Sorry to hear.
