Don't you wish BB sold their red limited edition model to retail consumers ? They could really up their game if they offered cobalt blue and that fantastic red. I would also like the option of buying the black rubbery back.

Red I can understand, but Cobalt Blue? Like the Samsung Galaxy 3? Ugh.......
Yes it would be nice but you can also buy one of those body skins and change the color to whatever you like.

Offering a more varied color choice would do nothing to "up their game". Listening closely to current early adopters and zipping out an update that would cure the current shortcomings + increasing the number of good applications at a faster than current slugs pace would.
http://phantomskinz.com/blackberryz10chromatics.aspx save yourself some money and get this will be nearly the same without the extra $500+ markup. You can get black battery doors from Verizon if you don't mind the logo.
CB10- BlackBerry Z10
Develope an app (a geo cache app would be nice) Make some money and get a free red Z10:yes:
What ever BB spent on supplying these gifts hasn't really paid off - has it ? The goal here is to sell phones. If red sells they should sell it. I would like to see silver for example.
Harley Davidson sells motorcycles that no two look the same. There is no reason why BB couldn't do the same with the Z10. Give buyers the choice. Costs virtually nothing.
It doesn't cost nothing. They'd have to source materials. There would be additional manufacturing coats. (it doesn't all just roll off the same line) and they'd have to do more work in forecasting and budgeting on what markets are likely to purchase what amounts of those other colors so they don't end up with a bunch of dead unsold stock.

Mine was not a gift - I earned it.

It is a piece of plastic ... the red , black and white are distinguished by a different pieces of plastic with basically the same cost. The extra cost ( if any ) would be offset by additional sales.
That is not what you are going to tell the tax dept. Regardless, my point is that the red model would probably add to sales.
