As titled. The battery don't get me through the day.
Is this a normal situation for the battery or it is a drain actually?

I see your PIM services. Probably you configured a lot accounts in your Hub with fast update intervals. You have probably also much network traffic. So your device is sending and receiving data all the time. This wil cost a lot of energy. Yes, this battery drain is normal then.

I've 1 hotmail, 2 gmail, Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn with 5 minutes interval with very low screen brightness. Only last me for a few hours. Any solution?

Your question sounds like "I do everything to consume as much energy as I can. Only last me for a few hours. Any solution?"

Do you really need 5 minute refresh intervals? If you can change to less frequent intervals or even manual refreshing then you will save a lot of juice. Even push email settings will save battery in my experience.

You can try changing your intervals to lower frequency. That should solve your battery drain issue!

For me email is my main channel of communication, indeed I need all those account in sync real-time. (By the way, I did try to cut it down to the minimum usage)

@muellerto Thank you very much for your answer! However, that's is really what I need to. I should consider a switch maybe.

Also, if you are on any 10.3.x build that isn't 10.3.1.1949, the battery life is terrible. This is the first leak that has allowed me to get a full day of moderate use out of a full charge.

An example of battery life on 10.2.2.1609 with 3 Gmail push accounts, Facebook and Skype:

In my experience this OS version for some reason has best battery life.

Under Advanced settings, turn off push. Then set the interval.

Compared to 5min polling Push is better. Push requires one single keep-alive message from the device to the mail server normally in an interval of 15 minutes. This is very simple and fast. Then the server knows there's still at least one client listening. Polling on the other hand retrieves indeed data from the server every five minutes. If you have messages in your inbox these messages are retrieved (at least their header data) again and again and compared to what the Hub already knows. I had a network traffic (which is equivalent to energy consumption) of about 1.7 MB per day with my two mail accounts using a 1h polling interval. I reduced this to about 500kB per day using Push.

I start at 9 and am dead by 3. I feel your pain. I blame the 1900 MHZ battery and the white background honestly. I've even bought a battery pack for it and it's the only way I get thru the day. I love the device. But the battery life is easily the worst of any BlackBerry device I've ever owned.

I've moved up to the Z30, but I keep the Z10 as NFL Mobile isn't available for the Z30. If you're not with Verizon or don't care about football, get a Z30 and enjoy one of the best phones out there.

I'm I the only Z10 owner with 4-5h screen-on time and 12-15h battery life with normal use? The screen shot I posted above shows 26h on a single charge with 12% left. On standby it will do 48h easy. Same standard 1800mAh battery. What I'm doing "wrong"?

Charge battery fully then hold volume buttons until device restarts (after battery reaches 100% and the device is still plugged in)
