I would say that's about average. Mine is around the same when just basic stuff, then higher when using processor more.

Just on Crackberry at the moment and battery guru is saying my battery is at 33 degrees , but I am also charging it too at the moment also so that is most likely upping the temperature somewhat.

Played a game just now and got it up to 41 degrees celsius.

It's dropped down to 36 degrees already in 5 minutes or so though, usually sits around 28-31.

I'd say that's pretty much the normal range 25 -30...shouldn't worry too much. Gaming does cause the device to get a bit warm, nothing out of the ordinary though.

Battery charger works fine as well, not quite as detailed but free. Battery guru is worth it though

I just got my z10 yesterday, I was navigating home from a day trip using the stock map app. The z was on charge using the stock charger plugged into a cigarette lighter power inverter. The z was sitting on the seat between my legs. The phone got extremely hot, not hot enough to burn my hand, but hotter than any electronic devices should get.
I really want to like this phone, but not so sure I trust it yet

That does sound a bit off? I've used the car charger while playing around with different apps and games. (no case on the Z10 at the time) I've never felt any heat from the device. I would try a different charger and see what happens. I would guess this is not the norm at all.

Z10 is solo hot. I turned off LTE and the phone is much cooler but battery guru says my temperature is 36+ degrees just browsing the web. Phone has froze up on me three times today!

So Rogers fortunately has exchanged my Z10. The new one is running cooler in general and I don't feel the heat on the screen as much as before. No more random reboots or freezes either. This sucker still turns into a hot lava rock if I throw everything that I have at it and don't let it rest but I have yet to exceed 100 degrees (with LTE on 24/7) like on the old one. I use two different batteries not sure if that makes a difference. I also only sync one Active Sync account and deleted all apps like Facebook and Whatsapp, if I ever add any apps back I will do it one at a time to make sure a particular app isn't causing a heat issue although I doubt that was the cause.

That actually is normal. Using the GPS on the phone using the map app already raises the temperature of the phone. Since it was on the charger as well, it gets even hotter. The same thing happens when my phone is on the charger while my mobile hotspot is on.

Battery Guru, my phone hit 41c doing nothing. Cell network had dropped to 1 bar. When signal increased, temp dropped to 36c where it seems steady but warm. On Telus in Vancouver.

The Z10 is insanely hot when running maps / GPS, my nexus 4 ( don't shoot me ) with all of its glass gets warm too but not like the z10.

The Galaxy S3 on the other hand is a smoking hot device too. I guess these qualcomm's heat up.

I don't know it helps or not... I changed my big file size wallpaper to the standard wallpaper from z10, no uninstall anything.. after I changed, my z10 not hot anymore, sometimes just warm if I'm using it for games ...

On cb, BlackBerry world for about 30 minutes now. All that works on wi-fi connection and my battery is 22C. Funny thing is I thought that it's much warmer because u can feel heat over my silicone case.

With 10.2.1. 2141 the battery (at least on mine) stopped getting so hot. This doesn't apply when using Android apps, but on a basis mine only goes as far as 96 F, regularly is at 89 - 92 F. I've noticed substantial changes depending on the os regarding this matter.
