The original battery comes with Z10 was so unimpressed at all. Even I have had replaced a new one 2650mA but no good sign very much.

Are you running a leaked OS or are you running the OS your carrier has provided you with?
What OS do yo have installed?

    Battery is pretty average ^^

First proper day of usage i.e. for work... got to 6.20pm with 23% charge left

    @ 6.20pm on my SGS2 I'd be around 50% (custom rom + tweaks)...

Luckily I have car charger - it will be attached whenever I'm in it

You should give the latest 10.3 leak a try, my Z10STL100-3/10.3.0.296 in LTE and medium brightness with moderate use easily lasts me a full day. I have 4 emails, twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn , foursquare, BBM, and texts going all day. I get well over 100 emails a day.
Only caveat is that it has watermarks at the corners, but the improved battery life and speed of the phone is well worth the watermarks.

That's the average for a Z10, 8-12 hours. Some people get less. This is typical of any phone on the market right now except for the Z30 which gives you 24 hrs before needing a charge.

Have you made sure social media isn't updating in the background? How good is your network connection? A weak signal can drain your battery much quicker than when you are in a strong signal area. Have you turned your screen brightness down to at least 50%?

A lot of tweaks you can make to help improve your battery life.

Loading the 10.3.0.296 sure had a great effect on my battery life.

Being able to keep my brightness at 50%, scroll through Twitter and chat on Facebook often with 3G keeps me up about 10-12 hours, when it only lasted me 5-6 when I was in 10.2.1.

10.3.0.296 literally doubled the battery life of my Z10 under the same usage. Only difference is that when on 10.2.1 i was not able to have more than 50% brightness and still have at least 10% at the end of the day from 7 AM - 1 AM. 10.3 is definitely the way to go.

I hope the other things they're gonna add in it on the official release won't screw up the battery life.

10.3.0.296, in my opinion, the major battery improvement is the standby time,
when I use my Z10 heavily, it makes no difference, about 4-5 hours, it is limited to the hardwares, CPU maybe ,
I used to get less than 8 hours per charge,
After the update ,when I don't use my phone , it uses less power, so now I can get 8-10 hours per charge,
That is a significant improvement, but I want more, I want 12 hours, hope blackberry can release a bigger battery with the same size ,like 2100-2300 MA,
    keep moving, blackberry!

Now that you mentioned it, standby sure has been draining my battery a whole lot less, but nonetheless still lasts way longer than on 10.2.1.

I actually notice a difference even when using the device. I use my Z10 non-stop at home. And I usually got like four hours out of it on 10.2.1, and now I get six hours on 10.3.

    Then bring on 10.3.

Battery and battery management are definitely areas for improvement.

I generally get 2 days. Mostly email reading. Since I don't have to charge it every day, sometimes I forget to charge and it runs down.

Why does crackberry personnel continue useless threads like this. We get it, the z10 battery doesn't last 24 hours. I'd you don't like it move on. I get about 16 hours from mine (.3175 leak). I can tell you what doesn't work, complaining relentlessly about it.

I have had my z10 for a month now and the way my battery lost the longest is when I leave it charging overnight, it last me for about 2 days with moderate use. I am an older guy (mid 40s) so don't use it as a younger fella.
