Is there a way to recalibrate the battery on my z10 stl100-1?
The battery meter is completely inaccurate. Yesterday, my phone ran on 0% even with YouTube streaming for a good hour and still hadn't died by the time I finally plugged it back in.

The way to re-calibrate the battery indicator is to let the phone discharge down to 10-15% and then fully charge it. I think BlackBerry recommended no more once a month for this.

This makes no sense. How do you discharge to XX% when the meter is not providing accurate values?

Stl100-1 remove battery for 10 minutes and reinsert = problem solved

(I think.. I don't have stl100-1, but I remember that is the fastest / best fix)

I have stl 100-1. Use device till it shuts down. Remove batt, a minute or two, reinsert batt then charge till full. usually when phone starts up while charging, meter is below 10% and also if charging stops >100% reinsert charger. Since then my phone dies at 0%. But sometimes it slowly comes back, just do the same procedure.

Read the BlackBerry Q&A regarding battery gauge recalibration. Unless the gauge is totally not working you should be able to get close enough.
