swipe down from top bezel for Settings->About/Category, switch from General to Hardware.

Alternatively, get the free app Task Manager, which kills rogue Android apps and also displays battery and memory percentages.

In 10.2.1 it will be easier to access. Refer to attached images:

I've got 10.2.1.1055 but I don't see a PERCENTAGE value. A setting? I did look but may have missed it.

You need to install a leak. Search for the link to download 10.2.1.1055 in the BB10 OS forums. Follow the instructions and install the leak. It's very simple and 10.2.1.1055 is the biggest and best update to BB10... in my opinion anyway.

Do you have the device monitor in your quick settings menu?
I think someone said it has to be put there to initiate the command to do it (not sure)

It will show once you move your finger from the bottom of the screen up, refer to pic. And it displays on the lock screen too.

I finally noticed that if you did a partial swipe UP, that it shows while you hold that swipe - release it and the Icon returns. I guess I had expected it to ALWAYS show.
