    I have a question. Why does staying on the home screen use up battery life on blackberry z10?
    I mean it's so annoying doing nothing on my phone and having the battery life go down for no reason.
    I have gone on those help website ps and looked up ways to keep the battery life longer but they don't help me at all.
    I love BB but the battery life on the z10 is breaking it down plus the update has done nothing. The Z10 has really disappointed me, might switch to samsung s3
    And what's even worse is the fact that I don't use it that much

    This is what I've notice. My battery last longer when it doesn't charge all the way up to 100%.

    My battery dies faster going from 100%. Even when the phone is idling the battery goes down faster than usual.

    And after that, it goes off abruptly....this started happening after the 10.2.1 update tho

    Same here with stl100-1. When planets align and the battery charges to 100%, I pull of the charger and in a minute it goes down to 97%.
    Although it usually charges to a max of 96%. It's very rare to see it get up to a 100%. But once in a while it can happen.

    Yep add me to the club.

    No rhyme or reason. Once in awhile I will get 100%, but lately more often than not is charges overnight to only 96%.

    bro, I've recently got my z10 and updated to latest 10.2. It charges fully, I mean 100%. But when the battery drops,it's directly to 97%, not 99>98>97. Is it a bug? I can't blame the battery coz I used wifi and bluetooth. It was 100 % for about 15-20 mins then suddenly dropped to 97%. It's not the single time, it happens all the time
