Day one with LTE disactivated and running on 4G, my battery life increase by 200%...
So lte is eating all the battery, hope blackberry fix the problem... and the rest is working flawlessly

Yeah I have been using the lte on an "As Needed" basis and my battery lasts the entire day now. Plug it in before bed. I don't have to baby it through the the day like my old phone!

Its not a Blackberry problem my friend. LTE uses more battery, period. If you dont have a strong LTE signal, it will drain your battery even faster.

I keep my LTE off because i dont get a strong signal where i live.

Yeah. From a software point of view it would be vive to be able to set a battery usage threshold that would prompt the user with an indication that the lte is using a lot of power and give the recommendation to turn it off. Sometimes I forget. Just a super wishlist item.

Turning off LTE and going to 4G is the only suggestion that has worked to make a significant impact in battery life for me. I don't do much with the phone anyway, and if I need a faster connection I can always turn it back on.
With LTE on, I get two days use, and that is with turning the phone off at night. And my useage is only for light texting, emailing, nothing heavy.
With LTE off, I'm on my third day with 66% battery still left. Similar to my old blackberry bold.
