How long have you noticed it takes for battery consumption to level off after a 10.2 update? After first updating, I went from 85% to 5% battery life in three hours. Any advise from those of who updated yesterday or those of you who have updated with leaks?

I'm on Z10STL100-4/10.2.0.1791 with some 10.2.1.595 apps and my battery life kinda sucks as well. Maybe about 5 hours.

I'm in the same boat, though not as drastic. My battery life is noticeably shorter after the update!

Today my battery was a champion. I used my phone a lot. I noticed a significant difference for the better. I'll pay attention tomorrow. My wife's z10 battery indicator barely moved with modest use. Quite impressed actually.

How many days after updating?
Maybe there is some stuff still syncing and the OS can be wobbly for 2-3 days before it gets into its normal mode, like the leaks

Let it settle for a few days.

I'm having the same issue as of update+1 day, and I believe it will as 10.1, settling for a few days and then back to normal battery life (if not even better ! ).
People on leak versions were quite happy with the battery life, better than 10.1 for the most, I guess it should be the same here

It seems from folks that downloaded the leaks it takes a couple of days to stabilize. I haven't notice much difference either way.

I was waiting to install this 10.2 before I went ahead and purchased the battery bundle for the extra battery juice.

However with descent use, 24 hrs after upgrading I may not need an additional battery but TWO additional batteries! Good Lord!!

I so hope things get better after couple of days of use with the 10.2.

Same for me. I had 1767 which was amazing. Now the official 1791 is horrible. Trying to kill the battery. It's taking a while....

Hmm mine seems to be abit better so I can't complain. Just updates yesterday too.

Same amount of use... 10 hours late above 50 percent. and I play on it at work on and off all day. Normally I'm under 50 when I get home

My battery life after the 10.2 upgrade has been phenomenal! Significantly better than 10.1.

For those of you experiencing high battery drain, now that 10.2 has an App Manager (where you can see the CPU usage of an App), why don't you check that out to see which app is running up the CPU cycles? If it is an app that you can close, then close it.. See if that helps.

I found moving to 10.2 (leak) my battery improve significantly. And with the newest leaks battery is even better. I also always have bebuzz open

There's still a lot of work going on in the background for the first day or so after a major update. Give it 48 hours after the update, do a battery pull and you should be fine

After yesterday's download of 10.2, today I have noticed a definite improvement to battery life compared to similar use prior to update. Never had a leak installed, if that means anything. Keep those enhancements coming!!

With official 10.2, with normal use about 12 h. Oke for first time update will consume battery from 100% to 30% only for 3 hours.
