Been using BlackBerry 10.1 since the launch. Have not changed any settings after the update. I used to get almost 20 hours out of the battery. Now it is down to 10 hours of less... did BlackBerry change something significant in the OS update? feel like the 60 battery tweaks they did in the previous update are gone.

It is curious, I upgraded to 10.1 last week. The unit should have had enough time to settle in and synch. It is not running hot or anything. But the battery life is significantly less, especially now that there is more of what TMO calls 4G in our area. Still is acceptable and I still like the unit.

I found today that the update has added an option within network settings for 4g - i am not in an area where this is available so turned it off and my battery is back to how it was before the update

Where did you find that option? I can see that there is a drop down box, where in have chosen 2g&3G. Assume that by doing so the 4g option is not choose. Is there another option somewhere or is this the one you are referring to?
