Best battery life I got was 13 hours on one charge, after deleting all accounts and Re adding them. Now, I get 13 hrs a day, constantly.

To the OP: any new screenshot(s)... it's the end of the week... did his phone's battery last 5 days as he claimed? Or did he already "charge it a bit to come through" ;-) Have a nice Week-End! Cheers.

So I did this little experiment to see the average battery life without making calls or texts, only 1 email attached and eBay.

    This thread is crazy.

You cannot use your phone regularly and have it last days on end.
Not with the battery BB has shipped with these phones at least.

    Exactly.

You can't use any smartphone and expect it to last for days either.

I can and have used a BlackBerry Curve 9320, and had it last for three days easy. And that's using the phone normally, as one would use it as intended.

If you're saying you don't believe me, you're entitled to your opinion. I don't care what anyone thinks. Three days battery life out of a Curve 9320 is easy. Thank you.

Go buy a new 9320, and see for yourself. I know what I got out of the battery on my curve. I don't need anyone to tell me otherwise.

First of all: I believe you.
Second of all: Nobody is going to buy a curve, unless they are running AOL-via dial-up on their pentium 386 desktop...

A curve 9320 cannot do 1/4 what a modern day smartphone can so we are comparing rocks to bic lighters here...

Don't know where you get this logic from. A BlackBerry Curve 9320 is a smartphone.

When I check battery status in 99% Display is greatest spender, and in 100% of time it's in first two places. Fact that on your screen is not even in top 4, means only one thing. You didn't use it.

I don't know if your replying to my post.

I didn't use "Display" cause it's not one of the top two in my particular screenshot? I don't understand what your getting at? Does that mean I couldn't have seen the screen when I made the screenshot cause "Display" is not in the top four? It's number five, so something is wrong with that? Maybe I'm quick draw McDraw and the Device Monitor was too slow.

Display is top if you're using your device. System, PIM, and Standby using more battery than Display is a sign that the device is on, receiving messages, but not activating the screen. In order to check and respond, or use the device in any way, the screen would have to be active.

So my "light usage" which I mentioned in my post that consumed less battery energy and recorded less "Display" usage (Since Last Charge) seemed to be suspect and thus was not "activating" the screen to use the device "in any way"...

I turned up the brightness to max and left it on. Now "Display" is the number one. Does this mean it's now activating the screen so I can use the device?

The light usage was just a test to see how long the battery would hold a charge. I'll go back to normal usage and daily charging.

    Cheers

One of my batteries for my Z10 seems to last forever. The estimation is about 4 days on a full charge. Heavy usage drops it by 10-15% for the whole day. However, once it gets to around the 70-80% range, the phone flips out and crashes. Screen goes black and the BB logo pops up, LED turns on like it's rebooting, then just shuts off. Trying to turn it back on gives a yellow LED and says no battery. There is something wrong with this picture.

My other battery has more normal use. Can get me through a whole day.
Having the same experience after upgrading to 10.2.1.2141! I think the battery is faulty. Though I got my z10 few days after launch. Probably, the battery is weak or a software issue (Best Guess)
