I call fake. It's possible to trick the meter to say it will last 5 days.
I can make my phone last 5 days with radio signal off and only wifi. But that's even pushing it.
IF he only has it on 2G only, I guess it's possible. But even then, I would be highly suspicious
I think it's possible. He can turn off the phone when not in use. The device monitor will resume reading when the phone is up and running again. Then you can turn off the phone again, and so on and so forth.
I'm not gonna call him a liar and make an *** of myself, so I'll be waiting on the proof. Till then it's just a rumor. And FYI, what's so hard about it being possible? Maybe when he got the update it killed unnecessary items that used power, who knows so who are we to say. Stranger things have happened
Maybe if LTE, 4G and 3g are turned off and only have EDGE on the battery could last longer. If for some reason you need a faster connection turn LTE on then when done turn it off.Im going to try this.

Please report back, I thought of this, too!

I use mine for navigation in uae for almost full day and yet i still got 30-40% of charge left at evening when i get back to hotel but my battery experience was always good
I know little bit off topic but I am charging with my Z10 Battery Charger Bundle other devices, too via micro.usb . My Logitech Illuminated K810 Bluetooth keyboard , M555b Bluetooth Mouse, my Dell Venue 8 Pro Tablet...all I'm charging with Z10 Charger Bundle when on the way.
It's very comfortable but I fear I can damage my batteries?!?

I don't even get beyond 2 days, ...35 hours to be exact while using the 4500mah battery. Therefore, it's impossible for the phone to go for 5 days,...220 hours on one charge with even the minimal amount of use. Even if the user turned off all radios until needing them, it wouldn't last 5 days on a single charge.
This is the most bogus post ever regarding the Z10's battery time.
Hard to believe as my Z would drain at least half it's battery if you just looked at it and if you went to pick it up that was it, you were stuffed, dead as a dodo ;-(
I was able to get 3 days on a charge, but only under unusual conditions. I was on a cruise ship, so I was only using my z10 for taking pictures and using the clock as an alarm. I had the device on all the time, but I turned off the phone and data. I can't imagine getting 5 days out of a battery.
I thought about that an there are 2 options for me:
1.) He is fooling you.
Or if not:
2.) He did switch off the mobile data connection in the settings and uses his phone in GSM mode with 2G only.
And set his BlackBerry in flight mode every night.
Well, Z10 does have better battery than most of the android phones. I have several programs running as headless (running in the background) and I use from time to time including GPS. It lasts the whole day!
It was fully charged this morning (status shows since last charge) and i told him to not charge it until he lets me know... he has NO REASON to BS me or trick me..... there has to be a reason this is going on that has to do with settings.
Here are screen shots of his screen, pic of battery in the device and screen shots of his status
He will be sending a new screen shot each morning until the battery needs charging again
Plausible. Seems like a lot, but I wouldn't rule it out. I charge mine every night out of habit, but I can go 2 or 3 days without a charge. I'd call myself an average/moderate user. I don't stream music or watch Netflix or anything like that, but I'm on BBM constantly, texts, occasional phone calls, emails. I'm your stereotypical "my phone is a communication device" user.
I believe its the little things that make the most difference for me. I close all apps I'm not currently using (except BBM), I use the OEM holster so my phone is in standby when I'm not on it, NFC and bluetooth are off, and I'm on wifi probably half the time.
I have no doubt that if I loaded up Netflix or started playing some games during the day that my battery life would drop, thats just how it works. It all depends on your personal usage, and if I can pull 3 days with moderate usage, I don't think 5 is out of the question entirely.
