Battery improvement recommendation

I have the Q10 and my wife has the Z10. A few weeks ago, I bought the OEM flip case for my Q and it made a big improvement on the already great battery life. So I bought her the Z10 flip shell case with the battery saving feature. She's had a meaningful improvement in her daily battery life. And I think these cases both look great and feel good in the hand.

My Q10 starts its day at 6am and toils hard all day driving my business with phone calls, emails, texts and BBM, with some light browsing. It's 11pm and the battery is at 45%.

These cases aren't expensive and I'm impressed. Well worth considering, especially for the Z10 people who have battery concerns.

I had the Z10 Flip Case first on my Z10. I liked the materials too.

In the end I switched to the Transform Case for 2 reasons. Back on the older 10.0 & 10.1 OS's at time, my Z10 getting really hot, plus the Transform is just sleeker.

there was a suggestion in one post earlier about turning the PIM service off. Noticed a big difference in battery power.

I don't understand why flip case can improve battery life. Do you know Can leather project do that?

I think there is a magnet in the leather that interacts with the device to put it to sleep.

To me the screen protection isn't that great on the Z10 flip case. Need something a little more rugged. Besides I get between 14 - 16 hours battery life per day anyway.

Z10... next Ontario!
