Here is the story, I've had my Zed since end of April, I haven't experienced any of the most common issues...save for one...the battery power has been disappointing to say the least. Last Wednesday I came home from work at 4:15, placed my wallet and phone(battery at 50% and warm at the time) down on my desk, and worked on our car till 7:45. Picked up phone to check for messages and nothing, dead, wouldn't even power up(plugged in) for 5 mns. It was plugged in all night, and since that day, it has lasted all day everyday from 6am till ten pm with power to spare(20-30% left). My habits haven't changed, other than not charging throughout the day, maybe that drain calibrated the battery/level indicator. Either way, I'm pretty happy with it...

I saw a post somewhere that for the first 4 or 5 days that the battery is adjusting to programs and your use etc. Mine has certainly improved and I'm on day 4. I did do the software update to 10.1 too though.

Have you ever rebooted, or pulled the battery since you got the phone? Possible there was some processing running amok, and the phone dying completely killed the process.

Yup, been rebooted numerous times(battery pulled) had some glitches with the odd app, but i do hope this lasts. Honestly im thinking that the discharge to flat and recharge calibrated the battery and all along i was charging to much, either way, its a welcomed change.

It looks like you are running the 10.1 MR, and I have noticed that I can get 2 days of battery life with light usage since I upgraded from the AT&T 10.1 to the Rogers 10.1 MR. In other words my battery life went way up after upgrading to the 10.1 MR and performing a full battery drain and recharge.

Perhaps this us what changed in your situation?

It looks like you are running the 10.1 MR, and I have noticed that I can get 2 days of battery life with light usage since I upgraded from the AT&T 10.1 to the Rogers 10.1 MR. In other words my battery life went way up after upgrading to the 10.1 MR and performing a full battery drain and recharge.

Perhaps this us what changed in your situation?

Sounds like identical experiences, totally enjoying not rock, paper, scissoring my crew for the charger in my work truck! Lol

Its official!! My battery lasted from 6am yesterday(sept17) to today at 12pm(had 16%left) it was on and being used as per regular habits!!!!

What a welcomed change!

I'm a little jealous. While I get good battery life, it's typically because I'm afraid to use my phone unless I really have to.
