My watt usage keeps going up and down, is that normal? Or is it because I just got the guru?

Take Battery Guru off of "Keep awake"... it's not required.

Just keep it running and it will give you a chart even if minimized.

Your wattage fluctuates depending on use. So if your screen is on and you are doing things on your phone you will see a higher watt value than if your phone has been on standby.

Time to empty is based on current output usage. As the different apps open and close, the output level changes and the time to empty recalculates.

What the high output number shows is that something is running the device pretty hard. Either you have a lot of apps running, Android apps running in the background, brightness up high, have an app that is using GPS, or the radios are in constant use. It would be nice if it had detailed information about which apps were using up power, but at least you can see the power output.

And yes, wattage is supposed to change. It changes as you use the device. If you look at the details right after turning the screen on, it will be a low number and increase at the next timing cycle.

    Ahhh I thought so.
I pretty much just have CB, BBM, guru, and the browser open which I'm not really using. I have my location services off. Brightness is at 50%.
Yesterday I had brightness set to 100% I had it on constant use for 3 hours straight till it finally hit 17% I think I should be getting way more battery life with the screen at half
