Works every time, 60% of the time.

Ok so because I'm overly annoyed with the amount of complaints on Battery Life, I'll share what fixed my battery life, even though I've gotten away with not having a single post on here in the 5 years of being a member.

So here's what you gotta do:

    -buy high speed PlayBook charger
    - turn off nfc, and gestures
    - delete battery guru
    - backup your phone
    - restore your phone to the backup
    - charge your phone with PlayBook charger
    - quit b*tching

*note, backing up and restoring has fixed the following bugs and glitches I've had:
    - voice mail notification wouldn't go away
    - contacts app that was cluster effed
    - messages that wouldn't delete
    - contacts that wouldn't delete
    - updates poping that had been done

Now can we make this a useful forum again?

Why are you guys asking him things instead of just testing his method ?

I like you're feisty, yet positive attitude.

Might help some, although I have no problems with my phone or battery.

I don't have any battery issues, and have Battery Guru running all the time. I was just curious why he thinks this particular app is causing battery drain.

Thanks for wasting the first post spot, I was saving it for someone who'd actually try it.

I don't know but if you have something monitoring your amp draw constantly in theory unless it has a different power source it will draw amperage, but I'm no engineer.

Haha thanks Edward and Chris, I spend more time on my phone then most in a day, but I've always had crackberry to solve my problems but the z10 thread is cluttered with whinners who are full of crap, and at the end of the day its pretty easy to sit behind a keyboard and tell stories.

I have done everything except buy the playbook charger and even then I use my nexus 7 charger. Other people have done all of that and still have issues. Battery Guru has shown me what problem apps I had and what exactly was causing the battery drain. I get 1+ Watt drain from being in the hub. Thank you for showing your ignorance of a complex situation.

What's a whinner? Is that a winner who whines a lot? Seems ironic to me.
