I downloaded the new OS 10.2 and my battery is draining quickly, taking a long time to charge once plugged in and the phone is hot. What gives? I use official BB plugs and the download was official. Does anybody what what's going on?

Wait 48 hours for all to settle in. Indexing and all. Then report back. I loaded a few leaks and some took a day or two to settle...

Took mine a few days to settle in after installing. 1791.

I also just activated a brand new Z10 for the wife. Installed. 1791 on it before activating and started with a fresh setup, no restore, no contact import, nothing....took hers about three days to settle in as well. Battery life was really bad but has now improved a lot!

I downloaded it on Monday the 28th of October and today Friday Nov 1st it's still happening.

And if it doesn't solve it, go into the process manager and start stopping processes.

I had the same issue took about 3 days to resolve itself.
I carried a spare battery with me in the time it was settling in. Have patience i think the same will happen to you as battery performance will increase after another day.

I also tried completely draining the battery before a recharge too

I updated mine the day it came out with rogers. Maybe a week ago. Mine is still draining fast. Can't get through the day. On top that, when I go to pictures, in shows up to June. To see my current pictures I have to albums. And texting is really slow. Email and bbm work great but when I have to text is slow. Anyone else have that problem?
