Good morning,

I have the z10 for about 1 month.. since 2-3 days, in the morning, when i take my phone, after a full night on the charge (tried with the provided charger and the playbook one), it never goes at 100%... only 99%.. it was getting there before.. any idea?

That's pretty normal. Mine rarely goes to 100%. Sometimes if I unplug it, wait 5 mins and plug it back in it'll go to 100%. Not a big deal though.

Do not worry it's normal. Nothing at all to be alarmed about. Mine does it too sometimes. Barly ever shows 100%.

Mine took a full week after the 10.1 update, i was getting 96% all the time. I let it drain for 2 consecutive days... Now I get 100%.

Happens to me all the time. All you have to do is either turn off your Internet or go into airplane mode. I woke up with 100% once I did that

most new phones wont go to 100%. By new I meant the latest Android devices as well. Just the way the OS & battery tech works. Anywhere from 95-99% is normal. I think I remember on my Nexus 4, if you put it in airplane mode, you could get it to 100%. But really its no big deal.

Calibrate it and you will be all set.

You need to do this every 2-3 months with any phone or laptop if you want the battery meter to be accurate.

Like I said I get 100% when I go into airplane mode when I go to sleep. I think LTE takes up so much battery, the charger can't go faster than its draining (at the one percent)

My battery does this also. After 10.1 was loaded it doesn't do it as frequently. Like another mentioned, unplug it then plug it back in after a few minutes and it should reach %100.

Sounds like he has a grip which is why he waited a month before posting his curiosity.

We have smart Batts that sometimes lose their place. Run it to 10% then recharge usually helps, but I don't worry till I see it sticking to 96% regularly.

Still playing with my new Z10. Just noticed: when I let it drain to zero -it was still working at 0% battery charge. After some time the phone shut down automatically. Now I charged it to the full. Unplug the charger, switched off the phone and put charger back... it continued to charge. I powered the phone up and it stays 97% charging.

I think, there is some calibration required. Otherwise battery may be under charged.

My has always gone to 100% however just this morning after charging it all night the indicator only showed 95%.

I know others here same its normal and not to worry about it but I disagree. If that's the case then why even have a percentage indicator if its not going to register accurately.

Tty discharging it to zero and charge it while power is off.

I always charge it over night with it off and have run it down to zero before. When I work up this morning is when for the first time the light was indicating "still charging" showed as opposed to "charged".
