I thought I had good battery life before, but since I updated to 10.0.10.85 a couple days ago, I'm at least 35% better...I'm settling in at just over 3% per hour of drain under normal usage (emails, calls, BBM, twitter, light browsing...wifi, bluetooth on). Way more than enough to get me though the day.

all I can say is wow!
since I updated to 10.0.10.85 a couple days ago, I havent plugged in for 48 hours and Im at 10% right now (48 hours)

Yep, there are many little tips/tricks to help increase battery life. many threads on this before and after the 10.85 update (and similar). about 30% screen brightness .

I just charged my Z10 after 46 hours, a little less than 2 days. Normal use, just few mins on calls, CB10, browsing, checking for new apps in BB world, everything on 4G. I am trying to lower to 3G to check how long my battery lasts per charge.

I don't buy it. My battery life is the one limitation of this phone. I'm lucky if it lasts past 2 pm with average usage . A few of my friends that have the z 10 have the same problem. Anyone claiming over 24 hours is full of it. Even if i never touched it once all day the phone dies before the 24 hr mark.

LOL... that's not the case. I've had the phone while on vaca in the caribbean and no issues having the device run well over 24hours with little use. (didn't use the data, just wifi only and for calls). Mind you it is in the leather pouch when not in use.

There are many threads around that helps you increase your battery performance, other than the recent 10.85 update... quick search would reveal this!

Hi guys, while I understand that there has been a lot written on this topic, it seems like there are quite a no of us having different experiences on this aspect..

While it's great to heat that some are experience gd batt life, I can't say the same for mine even after the upgrade (10.90).. tried minimising the brightness and also turning on 3g only.. not sure if it's really the phone issue or its a case by case basis..

Correct me if I am wrong, but once the phone gets fully charged it stays there with the charger still on, the batt shouldn't start depleting when you start to use the phone with the charger on? Or is this an issue with the phone? Tried getting another batt but still see the same symptoms..
