z10 died sudden death on Sunday. Was on original charger charged to 100% unplugged to use it and screen frozen. Did battery pull to restart wouldn't boot up. Got some red blinks but now only one real quick when first plug in to usb. I've Read all the related posts here to no avail. When hooked up to link on both Win10 and Win7 PCs can't see it. Tried autoloader also doesn't see it.

STL-4 April 2013 vintage. Based on the research I did with numerous reports of suddenly dead z10s if you own one your time may be coming soon. Most of my real data was on sd or via cloud and have a backup from over a year ago so more inconvenience than critical loss, but still loved my z10 and bb10 and wanted it to keep going longer...and did lose my most recent pw keeper data and texts...

Also I'm on Verizon and the only Blackberry phone you can currently get new is priv which I'm not convinced on yet..so I just bought a used verizon z30 on ebay.

So do a backup folks.

Sound advice. You should always be backing up your devices anyway.
