How long should a backup take? My z10 was damaged (hit and run ) and touch screen no longer works so I've ordered replacement parts. Meanwhile I'm trying to do a backup and it is taking too long IMO.

The first try was about 20-30 minutes and then it failed. I've rebooted the phone and it appears to work ok but the backup has been going for a couple of minutes and it is only at 1%. So I'm wondering if this is normal or the phone is damaged in some way.

It was able to sync very quickly and there is almost nothing on the phone.

So it finished about 25 minutes after starting and was around 9% the last I looked at about the 23 minute mark. So maybe the progress bar isn't very accurate. Still not sure if that is about normal for a backup time. That was a "Quick Backup", trying a Full Backup now.

Backup time with link seems to have no end my friend. So you go sit in the den grab a pen and start writing to Chen! .

Long, about 45 mins to success for full backup. But many 'fails' for no apparent reason. I do find it (link) a weak product. Reboot at both ends seems to help, but no clear reason for it, to me anyway.

Thanks for the confirmations. Once I properly installed the software the backup worked but it was slow.

Apps. Games in particular are the biggest culprits in lengthening the process.
