    Is there any software out there that can back up contacts instead of using Gmail..

    Free ones of course.. would appreciate it if I could get a few suggestions

    Yup. Outlook.com. actually works better with BB than Google, IMO.

    I wanted something to pull my contacts from my Nokia Lumia, and it also backups.
