There is no audible app, and the audible android app does not work when side-loaded.
I contacted audible customer service and according to them it's not even on their radar.
Posted using CrackBerry App on BB10
This is must have app for me, good bye BB hello Android.
So how did you survive without this app previously?

The app currently exists on legacy BlackBerry. Even if it is the most badly written, battery hogging, pi**-poor excuse for an app that I've ever used. At least it exists.
It's not a deal breaker for me, but it is very disappointing as it means I will need to manage a device specificaly for audio book playback.
Hopefully the upcoming android update will allow me to side load the audible player.
Doesn't sound like you were much of a BB fan to begin with LOL :)
I am using my old BB 9930 as my audiobook player, since I had a version of the Audible app installed and working before they pulled it from their website. But BB10 is my mobile device. I would LOVE to have Audible on the Q10 and not have to carry the 9930 with me - but I'm not leaving BB simply because Audible/Amazon aren't playing well with BB. :D
I sideloaded the Audible app and using the unlocked Android runtime it works beautifully.

How did you do that? Yesterd I dared to install the unlocked runtime which worked well but nonetheless I get an error when I try to install audible.
Do I need a specific unlocked runtime or a specific audible version? Any help greatly appreciated - audible is the only thing I really miss when using my Blackberries.

I also have side loaded the Audible app on my Z10, I it works awesome. I use xsasha"s method.
I have the sideloded version from audible too. Works as smooth as a native!

I use version 1.5.

I am using version 1.38 of Audible.

I installed the runtime via Google Chrome. Does it make a difference to use other methods? On Blackberry I am not that much into installing leaks and I try to stay on the official ROM.

I am totally lost here. Someone please post a how to for sideloading Audible. Where to get the bar file. Does runtime need to be unlocked with 10.2 official ?? I'm so confused.

After install the debugtoken via xsashas methode - audible 1.5.1 works fine! Thx!
I needed just 5 minutes after getting the emails from BlackBerry for creating the debugtoken.bar

If you load 10.2.1.575, there is no need for a debug token. Side load audible and it works great.

I just installed Audible on 10.2.1.1925
I am able to download books to internal SD but not external SD, get error "Failed to download title. Internal error".
When I tried to play the book, got an error that I had too many devices in use which must be from switching devices too many times. I called their support (which is amazing) and they re-set the list of registered devices. I tried again and now I get "Activation failed" although playing on Windows 8.1 laptop and Galaxy Note 8 tablet works fine. I tried activating on WiFi and LTE, same issue. Called back their support and got similar answer that BB is not supported. I explained all they need to do is allow this device type. She agreed to open a ticket with their "back office" and will include me in the email.
Let me know if you've found a way to get it working on the latest leak
I upgraded to 10.2.1 just so I could install the Android version if Audible. No serious issues except my BBM doesn't work, but there is a fix for that. If BBM is important to you, makes sure you follow the instructions in the forums BEFORE you update to 10.2.1 or you'll be doing it all over again to get BBM back.
Any, I'm running Audible vs1.4.5 and have the only issue I have is that the app sometimes get confused about which way I'm holding my phone. Not sure if it's purely an app issue, since I've noticed it occasionally on a few other Android apps I have. Playback is fine, shopping is fine, everything else is fine. A little laggy, but fine. Worlds ahead of that pos Amazon gave us on legacy devices for sure.
If Android is important, install 10.2.1 and download the app from 1mobile (not Amazon. I had issues with the version I got from the Amazon App Store.)
Having Audible on my Z10 is like giving me a whole new device, because of the added abilities.

I'm using 10.3.1, and was able to install Audible via Amazon Appworld - everything seems to be working flawlessly!
Crossing my fingers that it remains so :)
Audible works flawlessly. I've been using it for months. Enjoy !
I installed the audible app from the Amazon Appstore. Worked for me from day one.

It works but I must say I don't like their new interface... if only we can get 3rd party apps for it...
