Do you even know what that means? It couldn't possibly be a backdoor (let's read again: due to compromised encryption algorithm). They are most likely refering to the vulnerability that the 2.1 Tabled OS and early 10.0/10.1 releases of BB10 had.
A backdoor is something that is inherent to the OS. 10.2 on has no such vulnerability.
