When you do, there should be a little "globe" (comma, usually...sometimes the "@" sign, etc.) icon on the keyboard to the left of the space bar. Click and hold that, a list of languages should pop up. Keep holding your singer, and without lifting it off the screen, move it from the button to the language you want to use and let go.
