Am loving the Z10, but I have an irritating issue I was looking for help with. I have two apps that I can't make close by swiping up from the bottom of the screen like every other app. One is The Amazing Spider-Man game, and the other is a calculator app. I try and try to swipe up, but nothing happens, and I end up having to reboot to get the app closed. Any thoughts? Is there some other way to force close an app, a task manager or some such?

I'm guessing this is in landscape. If I ever can swipe up in landscape I rotate the phone and swipe from the BlackBerry logo, still works even if the app is in landscape. Hope that helps, bit I'd reload the os if this is constant.

Yes have a case. But the case doesn't prevent me from closing other apps. These two apps are landscape though, and I'm trying to swipe from the BlackBerry logo.

I think you have to swipe in landscape from the side of the phone (bottom of landscape orientation). Even for this cb10 app, swiping up from the blackberry logo in landscape does nothing.

Yep, that was it, thank you very much. Had to swipe up from the "side" of the phone when in landscape.
