I could not find a solution in any of the other threads and if this needs to be moved thats fine. Apps that I have downloaded from the Amazon app store wont delete and I even go through my file manager and delete everything I can find of the file, I have 10.2.1 installed. They keep coming back and its really annoying! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I recommend not using the Amazon App Store, lots of people having problems with it
Try uninstalling the apps on pc with DDPB or the Chrome extension, should get rid of them permanently

I believe even on android devices using Amazon app store will do the same thing and won't let you get rid of apps. I've always stayed away from that part of amazon. Such a shame really.

Well after making this thread it occurred to me I should try using the BB10/Playbook manager extension using chrome and it worked like a charm so I guess I fixed it.

Glad to see your problem solved
If it's not to much trouble I recommend getting your apk's straight from Google Play with Snap or with the Evozi website
    Both methods work great

I have uninstalled with Ghost Commander and then deleted the icon to fully get rid of it without a PC. I mention this because I had an app that wasn't from Amazon continue to come back after deleting. That said the other suggestions here by eldricho are all we are going to need. For now anyway. Hoping this gets better and better.

Unfortunately that's the prices you have to pay when installing unofficial apps.
I do know for side loads, uninstall via DDPD.

This is a 'thing' with 1055, nothing to do with Amazon App Store. Even native apps keep coming back.

You need to uninstall the apps through Device Monitor. Find the app (best bet is the Storage tab), open the app page, and hit the trash can.

1mobile or Androiddrawer.com work really well. So far I've had no problems with all the apps I've downloaded. Amazon is a no no for me.

I've recently come across this issue. I've read the thread and want to try fixing this without a PC. I have ghost commander installed but have no idea how to uninstall something with it. Pointers on how2 anyone? TIA

My advice is to get chrome on your computer and get the playbook manager extension and use that. It's very simple.
