It may be the implementation of the app bit as far as I know the API provided by BlackBerry only gives the developer the option to pause or continue running while it is minimized (active frame).

I was about to break my own record (72k) score in Beach Buggy Blitz when suddenly my phone rang and I accepted the call. After the talk my game is over. It didn't pause

Very interesting observation.

I didn't know that.
I seldom get calls. Usually BBM or text, so most of the time I can just pause and go check and then come back.

Definitely something that should be fixed. It's actually funny because you can actually see the game playing in the background when the phone is ringing and I'm not picking up.

See, this is where multitasking with common sense should be the priority. The ability to "play five youtube videos at the same time" is cool, but not practical in real life.

Hopefully its a singular app issue.

I think it's the developers fault. For example when I open the game "Trid" and minimise it into an active frame it paused.

As I mentioned the API provided by BlackBerry only allows pause when minimized but not when the phone is ringing. Beach Buggy Blitz also pause when minimized but not when the phone is ringing.
