    Never realized the native app does! Someone told me that the voice control thing wasn't advanced enough to say directions like siri yet.. He was obviously wrong.

    Yeah the native maps app is based on TomTom and speaks the directions out to you.

    I bet not one reviewer has mentioned that.

    The Maps app will also give you voice direction while in active frame. So you can use any app, like Foursquare, music, etc, and use the browser at the same time.

    Yup, just had the maps app giving oral directions while in active frame and I was in another app. Not too shabby!

    Have you tried the new Blackberry Navigator yet. It's great and yes it does voice out the directions and give you the 3d and other views of your route.

    You can get it by going to Blackberry.com/beta. It's great and since it's still a beta app, you can provide any feedback to help develop it.

    Give it a try.
