I'm preparing to move from the Z10 which I've had since February to a Q10, which I purchased through a seller on crackberry
    Com.

Has anyone made this switch? If so, any tips to get me on my way?

I wish the price would come down on the Q10. I've been tempted to activate the old 9930, But would like to stay on BB10

Yeah. I bought it through this site from someone in Arizona. I still have to get it though. Just was wondering if there are major differences.

Screen size lol tiny screen I'm told. Not sure I could leave the size of my Z.

I'm actually ok with the smaller screen. I think anyway! I'm looking forward to the physical keyboard though.

I think a ton of people have done this.

I wish that the price drop was in the q10, so that I could pick it up for cheap!

I traded my Z10 for a Q10 last month. I'm loving the physical keyboard. It's a lot better than my old 9900 and keeps getting better with updates. Check out the oem flip case by the way. It looks gorgeous.

I'm going to switch back to the keyboard too. But, I'm going to wait for the Q11; whenever it arrives.

Yeah I can't wait to get my hands on that physical keyboard! The reason I am switching is because of my new job. I get sooooo many emails that I have to reply to and with the Z10 I am spending so much time correcting spelling and formatting mistakes!

I have the two devices and I interchange them when feel like doing so.

I have been doing the same. The Z10 is a great device and I love the screen. But I love the keyboard on the Q10 even more. The screen on the Q10 is definitely "tiny" but whatever. I love it!

OP, if loads of email replying and management are your reason for switching to the Q10, you'll definitely be pleased with the Q10. I definitely prefer email management on the Q over any other device.

Luckily I have both, but could never fully switch to the Q10. I love the physical kb, however I cannot adjust to the screen size,

Wife as the Q10 and I have the Z10. If you don't mind the screen size, the keyboard is better than the Bold 9000/9900 - which is saying a lot. I have bear thumbs and to me the Q10 keys seem bigger than its predecessors (maybe the straight alignment vs slight curvature makes it seem that way).

The only issue I have is the lack of being able to assign a speed dial to one of the keys; which I hear is a feature on the next 10.2.x update

Yes email management is my big concern here. I was just replying to an email from one of my coworkers and it took me a few extra minutes to correct typos. Not minutes actually but seconds. But those seconds add up with all the emails I get!

And when people are saying they switch back and forth between the two phones, is there any danger in constantly moving your sim card from one phone to the other? If not I may consider keeping my Z10 for weekend use.
