I am supposed to recommend a phone for someone who is totally blind. I called a good friend who is mostly blind, and he uses an iPhone, which is says has some features out of the box that make it usable for a blind person. I guess it lets you know audibly where your finger is on the screen. And he searches for, purchases, and listens to eBooks on it. I haven't found any info on the Z10 for the blind yet, Anyone know of a blind person using a Z10 or BB10 ?

I would think whichever platform has the best reading and typing speech to text would be best. Since I don't use those features I can only guess that Apple and Android do a better job of that.
