    Amit,
You shouldn't have got the phone from UK
I'm getting better battery life with the update for sure. Not the type which is being claimed in other threads. The ones where they claim three days etc. I get a battery life from 9-12 with blue tooth on. Also remember in India our talk times are significantly higher than those in the west.
I'm mostly satisfied with the battery life on 3g on a normal work day. If I have a night out then I have to charge the phone for a while when I get home. I find that acceptable seeing that my Nokia Lumia 900 dies just lying around the house.
Also I have my location set to off and I have set all apps to manual sync.
Even so the battery life is much better than the iPhone 5 on the same use cycle. Where the iPhone5 dies by mid afternoon the Z10 works till midnight. This is the tradeoff when you shift to a big screen and a dual core processor. That's why the quad core androids don't impress me much. I need my phone for voice calls primarily. Those quad core androids have horrendous battery life once you start using them for talking.
Also since your phone might be 4G, try shifting the phone to 2g+3g mode since it might be polling for the 4G signal which isn't available in India. The polling really kills battery.

Things seem to be better now after a battery pull.
Check out the first day battery status here

I got almost 12 hours in which I had about 3 hrs talk time and 2+ hrs display on time. And still juice left in the phone. Screen shots are also attached there

Downloaded WhatsApp and it is fully integrated with the hub. No need to keep it open in an active frame and will still get the notifications. And also not a battery hog like open WhatsApp. Great going BlackBerry, Cheers

@shaashay @sam_b77 I had posted this before...In settings/About, select the category for legal information. My phone STL100-1 shows the Qualcomm logo and says Qualcomm powered which means it has a Qualcomm processor. A couple of other people have also confirmed this...i think the OMAP thing was not true after all...

Is our Indian version actually not snapdragon but OMAP? I keep reading stuff about both possibilities. Is it so? :what:
As Nikhil said in the above post, it is QualComm.

I mean the bell icon keeps showing when you peek into the hub even after the message has been read... the spark on the bell is gone but the icon stays there for a while, don't know how long...but then just like that it goes away after sometime...

I know the feeling, I did the same as soon I got my UK Vodafone sim card, and when it was finally updated I was very happy and satisfied as if I have achieved something.

I see a strange behaviour on my Z10.. I normally keep my wifi on so it automatically connects when I'm at home or office. However when I'm out of wifi coverage, the phone shows a wifi network named 'Vodafone' and automatically connects to it. The data keeps working fine. Only if I switch off the wifi from settings, then I see the H or H+ symbol.

Not sure where and how this setting is done.. This also shows as a saved wifi profile, and as I said, even when it shows connected to this wifi network, the data keeps working fine.

    Anyone else seen similar behaviour?
