    Same problem here with my gmail account.
    Keeps nagging about an incorrect imap setting.
    BES / Work-email is functioning okay.

    STL100-2 in the Netherlands on Vodafone.

    Same here....I have two gmail accounts in MS Outlook on my comp, z10 and on my GS3 the that sits on my desk. Only one of my gmail accounts keeps getting this error message. The other works fine.... weird. I deleted the one that's not syncing & now Outlook can't find the server to add it back. I sent a test email from the working gmail address on my comp to the one I deleted and the test hit both phones..... Hmmm Luckily, The mail from the "broken" account still get to me....

    Also....The gmail web site works fine for the account that's broken on my Comp/Outlook

    BB has an outage - sign of the appocalypse, the company is going to die. Google has an outage, sorry for the inconvenience, just be glad we let you use our engine that we track everything you do with.

    Yep seems to be an issue with gmail on my z10 as well, im also seeing my outlook account as well being offline, my outlook is just for synching my contacts.

    Hopefully should be rectified soon, i did get an email a hr ago from an app dev i emailed. But since then i havent received any emails.

    My Z10 seems okay but my Playbook is asking for credentials. The Gmail account information page on the PB states "Account invalid".

    Deleted the account. Was able to add it back but had to do so with the generic add email path in account settings. Tried via the advanced Gmail path and it failed that way.

    Okay, let me say it one more time...

    GMAIL SERVER IS NOT DOWN, ITS JUST CHANGING THE PROTOCOL TO SETUP EMAIL ACCOUNT IN MOBILE DEVICES AND APPS

    the new protocol is called "2-step verification", which comes with the real deal, the "application specific password"

    you can find both in your gmail --> account --> security (on desktop browser), you need to generate a new password for selected apps / device ( the password is generated automatically by google ,and you need only enter it once in your device)
