    Hello all,

    I have been using a Rogers BB Z10 since its release (ordered from Rogers on Feb 5th but arrived and started to use around end of Feb). My Z10 is 100% clean, have not installed a single app apart from what came with the phone. I have been applying updates (OS updated to latest *.85 release and other app updates as well).

    It had been extremely stable and I was generally happy with the phone except for a few bugs (which is well known and I'm sure will be fixed in a release soon).

    Unfortunately, this past week, without my installing ANYTHING, the phone started to be randomly rebooting. I have had a total of about 5 random reboots (many times without me touching the phone) this week alone.

    Anyone else experiencing this issue on Rogers (Canada)?

    I know there are a lot of random reboot issues with some US Carriers, but I have yet to hear of any from Canadian Carriers. I maybe the first. Anyone else? If so, should I wait for the 10.1 release or should I try for an exchange of the phone?

    reboots as in the phone turning off and rebooting or????

    in my case, I have had the phone since Feb 5th release and have not experienced any of this. I'd like to see this happen so that I can say that I have also experienced it and figure out a way to fix it.

    Not once I'm on rogers stl 3 made in Mexico. But if it did reboot I wouldn't care lol auto battery pulls?

    I've had a couple. not sure why it has happened but to be honest it has never happened when i'm using it.

    for those who have said it hasn't happened in about under hardware check your boot time you might be surprised.

    My suggestion to people experiencing reboot issues in the States has been the following
    Go download one of the 10.0.10.xx (pre .85) or the 10.0.9.xxx release leaks. It will factory wipe your phone, and boot into when you first purchased it. Skip all updates. And go ahead and try to use it for a few days. Feel free to install basic apps that are fairly common. See if it reboots.
    The reason why I said skip updates is to prevent carrier update junk installation. Some have suspected the reboot issues were due to carrier specific software.
    If all is well, you can be fairly certain it is a software issue either with .85 (which most of us have without reboot issues), or something that has yet been identified.

    Yeah, in my case, it basically just suddenly rebooting, turning off and then rebooting... just weird. it seems that no one else on Rogers having this issue.

    Got the phone 2 weeks after launch, on Rogers in Toronto.

    Make sure the SIM contacts to the phone is good.
    Remove battery, take out and insert SIM a few times.

    Running full speed ahead since Feb 5th, no major issues! Definitely no random reboots though I usually end up swapping my battery every couple of days.

    Have had my Z10 since Feb 5th on Rogers... no reboots. I had too "Restart" twice though myself as the "Wifi Connecting" in settings would freeze. Happened both times while trying to connect to a wifi network repeatedly. Otherwise, no other problems and no reboots.

    Also had mine since Feb 5 on Rogers. No random reboots here (that I'm aware of). My last manual reboot (from the "about" screen) was Apr. 8. Also, I have many Android apps on there too - both from Blackberry World and sideloaded. All good so far!
