This just started happening to me recently. All of a sudden 3 days ago my battery wouldn't charge while it was on, only if I shut it off and now the battery drains in 2 hours without even making a single call and the battery is hot. Just started 4 days ago, I've had the phone since Feb.

I have the same issue. I took my phone off charge this morning at 3 am and it's 610am and I've got 25% left with hardly any usage. I woke up at 1am and noticed that I had the error msg of use correct charger for device. Well I am using the one that came with the phone. Anyone else having this issue??

I have STL 002 and it warms if I am on 3G/4G. And average battery usage on 3G is 6hours only with maximum usage of bbm groups one hour of phone conversation and playing some android sideloaded apps.

However, I never experienced any battery warmness nor battery drainage whenever I am at home connected with my wifi connection, doing that I am having an average of 11hours with 50percent still left on my battery.

Network connection stability greatly affects the battery drain and its temperature IMHO.

Mine was getting quite warm when browsing CB for quite a while the other day. This combined with terrible battery life suddenly, caused me to delete the two newest updated apps. They weren't important to me anyway. That solved my problem.
