Things are still broken. I'll be excited if things actually work when it's released.. running Z10STL100-3/10.2.0.1767 from fresh (didn't restore), parental controls still doesn't work properly.. eventually the call, search and camera icons disappear

Restoring settings that were once on 10.1, breaks a lot. Universal search Web search, parental controls doesn't work at all (for me), address book toggles , sort order and theme etc. App data from 10.1 breaks the android player if you restore it to 10.2 etc
I'm more worried than excited, but im still looking forward to it..

T-Mobile 10.1.0.4200 came with wi-fi calling. I don't have BlackBerry Link installed yet, so just the update has it included.

I'm with you OP, im terrified to load leaks, partly because with my luck I would lose everything, and partly because I'm terrible with computers and have no idea how to do it. So yes I'm very excited for 10.2!!

You don't know what you're missing. It's really simple and just make sure you make a backup with the latest version of link. If you have any issues, there are lots of people here in the forums that can provide assistance.

I'm not sure what OS you're on but .1767 has been really sweet for just about everybody.

Rogers internal documents state z10 and q10 upgrades coming late October. There's a few other sources that point to an October release as well, like the z30 is releasing in October. so if the os is approved for the carriers by then, it should be pushed out for the other devices as well.

In fact if my device didn't have WiFi Calling, I would've given BB a big middle finger and moved on to Android. (Without WiFi calling I would have no reception at home)..

Very much excited for the 10.2 update. I don't install leaks, afraid of breaking the warranty or bricking my phone. Even though it might be a small increments update, the updated Android Runtime is promising.

10.2 is good, to make restore process easier, all my media and games go onto a 16gig micro sd. havent had any issues and cut down the whole process to about 20-30 minutes versus 4-8 hours before.

How do you get your apps to go on sd card? Been wanting to do that forever.

I want 10.2 but like you I don't do leaks. However, we have to wait for both BlackBerry and Verizon to release it, so I am planning on getting it in the next life sometime. I just might get a Z30.

Excited? No, because I have been using the various 10.2 leaks so I am familiar with the experience. In my humble opinion, for a struggling platform like BB10, 10.2 is long overdue. It should have been the OS that debuted back in January/February.
